Heavy rain entailed with strong wind on yesterday afternoon caused 11 trees in East Jakarta collapsed. Luckily, there was no victim in the incident.

“Based on our personnel report, the number of collapsed tree could go up,” said Gatot Sulaiman, Head Section Operation for East Jakarta Sub-dept. of Fire Handling and Rescue.
Those threes were on Jalan I Gusti Ngurah Rai by seven trees, Jalan Pemuda by one tree, and Jatinegara Kaum by three trees. Most of the trees have diameter about 40-80 cm.
Fallen Tree at SDN 05 Rawa Barat Evacuated“We deployed 30 personnel and equipments to evacuate the trees,” he closed.
